5 First Year students from Colaiste Dun Iascaigh attended the final of the Irish Junior Maths Competition held in Cashel Community School on 6th May.
Philip Betts, Conor Lonergan, Jack O’ Connor, Helen Burke and Aoife Fahy completed a one hour exam, with lots of difficult problem solving questions from different areas of mathematics.
Aoife Fahy achieved the highest grade and was presented with a trophy on the night. This is the second year in a row that a student from Coláiste Dun Iascaigh has won first prize.
